Moreover, users can seamlessly integrate cross-sectional matrix input data derived from intricate blade designs in CATIA Composites, enhancing the versatility and accuracy of the simulation process.

 

Simpack Interface to AeroDyn

The Simpack Interface to AeroDyn establishes a crucial linkage between Simpack, a dynamic simulation software, and AeroDyn, an advanced aerodynamics software library developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). This integration facilitates the seamless coupling of aerodynamic forces with Simpack for simulating horizontal-axis turbines.

Simpack Interface to HydroDyn

The Simpack Interface to HydroDyn, a hydrodynamics software library developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), is employed to apply hydrodynamic forces on both fixed and floating offshore structures. This interface plays a vital role in dynamic analyses and load prediction of offshore wind turbines.

Simpack Interface to AeroModule

Used to interface the aerodynamic forces from AeroModule (TNO) with Simpack for simulating horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines. AeroModule software is purchased directly from TNO.

Simpack Wind Turbine Control Interface

Wind Turbine Control Interface integrates GH Bladed standard Wind Turbine control DLLs into Simpack. These DLLs control pitch angles and generator torques. This module requires Simpack Control.
